Depart Ouarzazate on the N9 road heading south through the Drâa river valley. The road immediately enters lush palm-lined corridors with ancient kasbahs at every bend. First stop: the fortified ksar of Tamnougalt. Lunch in a traditional guesthouse. Arrive Agdz village for overnight stay in a local riad.-
