Frequently Asked & Question

The best seasons are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November), when temperatures are comfortable throughout — mild in the mountains and warm (not extreme) in the desert. Summer (June–August) can reach 45°C in the Sahara. Winter (December–February) is cold at altitude but the desert is magical with fewer crowds.

Absolutely. This is a private tour tailored entirely to your group, making it ideal for families. The itinerary can be adjusted for children — shorter walks, more rest stops, and the camel trek is always a highlight for kids. The desert bivouac is a genuinely magical experience for younger travellers.

The tour includes 5 nights across carefully selected traditional properties: a riad in Aït Benhaddou, a riad in the Dades Valley, a desert bivouac camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes of Merzouga, a traditional Berber kasbah in Agdez, and a riad in Marrakech. All accommodation is hand-picked for authenticity and comfort.

You should carry a valid passport, visa (if required), travel insurance, flight tickets, hotel booking confirmations, and a government-issued ID. It’s also helpful to have copies of important documents and emergency contact information.

Yes — a return camel trek is fully included: one at sunset on Day 3 to reach your desert bivouac, and one at dawn on Day 4 to watch the Saharan sunrise from the dune crest. For guests who prefer not to ride camels, a 4×4 vehicle can transport you directly to the camp.contact information.
